Open Letter to Publishers

To announce that there must be no criticism of the President or that we are to stand by the President right or wrong is not only unpatriotic and servile but it is morally treasonable to the American public.
- Theodore Roosevelt, 1918 Republican President

Dear Editor,

Today, many people ask themselves, can a person effectively champion a fight against some phenomena, say, terrorism, if he – or his family – benefits from it personally? Well, they are not the first in human history to ask this question.

I would like to suggest for your consideration my new novel “The Third Day of September Ides”. The genre is historical (political adventure). The size of the novel is about 57,000 words.

I believe that a well-recognizable conflict of interest and other similarities with the modern political status quo at the core of the plot will attract the attention of general, politically active adult audience from students to retirees. I kept the details historically accurate and the storyline relatively simple to make it interesting to the young adult audience as a completely standalone historical novel as well.

The manuscript is ready for your review upon request. Please, find the synopsis enclosed.

Looking forward to hear from you,
Sincerely,
